J. P. B. B. 2010 Classic at Word Alive Church

So did my first Body Building Show on Saturday(09/10/10). I invited fellow semi-finalist Schalk van der Westhuizen and Anthon Raubenheimer along for the ride to Mmotla Village. 8am Saturday morning Schalk and Anthon arrived at my house, packed some goods and off we go, ready for a long hot day. We arrived just before 11am and there was already some people waiting for the action to start. We quickly got hold of Johannes Mnguni and Phineas Tshabalala that was hosting the show. There was still a lot to be done before the show could start. Everybody chose a different direction, Anthon started helping at the IT department where some technical issues occurred. Schalk and I started setting up and getting the hampers and prizes packed.

At 1pm the church was full and everyone was getting a bit restless. The final taxi arrived dropping off the last body builders. I was the asked to be a guest judge for the competition. When the first 8 contenders walked on to the stage... the crowd went mad, cheering, clapping and jumping... at one stage a piece of pap flew in some direction due to the excitement. After 30 minutes I realised that my mouth was completely dry because it was hanging open in astonishment. I was on a mission to find out how they get their bodies in such great shape. The answer: no I lift some stuff at the back of my house. What do you eat? Eh lots of pap and I like meat to. Stunned stunned stunned!

The rest of the day took off like a field fire; before I knew we were at the final stages of the contest and the big boys were blustery their muscle and the day came to an end. Schalk, Anthon and myself walked away with a new look at life and new friends.
And I started thinking again... by next year there will be some planning towards a gym in Mmotla Village.

I really want to Thank Schalk and Anthon for all their help to make this small but worthy dream come true! Many thanks to Bio-Anabolics you are “Naturally The Best
